March 7, 2017 held an activity in the Cultural Center of the municipality of Athens, to remember the legacy of the Commander of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro. The event was organized by the Cultural Association José Martí of Solidarity with Cuba (ACJM) and the Association Giannis Kordatos (AGK). More than 150 people from different sectors of the Greek society, Cubans resident in Athens and representatives of the Embassies of Cuba and Venezuela were present at this public event.
In the activity, was screened a documentary about the death of the leader of the Cuban revolution. Later, the Counselor of the Embassy of Cuba José Oriol Marrero Martinez expressed some words of thanks to those present, explained the importance of the legacy of Fidel, for the Cuban people and the world, their relationship with Marti and Chavez and the support to Venezuela.

Then intervened the Ambassador of Venezuela Farid Fernandez with a few fine words about Fidel, Chavez, the Cuban revolution and the Bolivarian revolution.
At the end there was a session of questions and answers and an interesting debate. The important event reaffirmed to love Fidel and the Cuban revolution and once again demonstrated the solidarity of the Greek friends with Cuba.
